Summer 2016

There’s no place like Santa Fe!

What a beautiful summer it’s been here at the Santa Fe Opera, where I’ve had the extraordinary opportunity to work and learn as a 2016 Apprentice Singer. I’ve performed in the chorus of Roméo et Juliette, covered the role of Wowkle in La fanciulla del West, performed the full role of Hostess in Boris Godunov in the Apprentice Showcase scenes program, and reprised the role of Teacher in the latest workshop performance of The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs. It’s been a blast, and what a setting in which to work and grow! My phone is virtually overflowing with pictures of unbelievable sunsets (not to mention costume selfies), and my brain is in much the same state with newly acquired skills and information.

Next up for this happy camper: another (R)evolution of Steve Jobs workshop in San Francisco, and then off to Arizona Opera to begin the season as a Marion Roose Pullin Studio Artist!
